“New Brothers”

Membership in Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Inc. is a lifelong commitment to the aims and purposes of the fraternity. Membership is available only to those aspirants whose academic, personal and social accomplishments are consistent with our objectives.

The Erie (PA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi ® Fraternity, Inc. seeks individuals who want to be a part of an organization that gives back to the community. We are dedicated to the principles of Achievement in every field of human endeavor. The goal of Kappa Alpha Psi is not just the accumulation of members. Instead, the emphasis is on the quality and integrity of membership.

Usually the time period that we intake new aspirants is in the Fall (around September) and Spring (around January) and it last about 6 weeks. The general requirements are a college degree, intake fee and letters of recommendation.

Brother, if you have been financially inactive, you may reclaim your membership in good standing status by bringing your financial dues up-to-date. You will then be able to enjoy the Kappa Alpha Psi Online Community!

“Amnesty”

The amnesty program is a program designed to intake Brothers who are not Kappas but was in the processing stage of becoming members and did not get the chance to complete the process. It is facilitated through each province, in this case East Central Province. It involves the general requirements of:

1) Completing an application
2) An application signed by the Province Polemarch
3) Obtaining Fraternity Sponsors (in good standing)
4) Paying the applicable Amnesty Fee

The application is usually due around the Province Council (March / April). For more information check with the local chapter for timely submission. It’s never too late!
